I finally got back into the Granite Chief Wilderness for four days this last week, and really enjoyed it. I visited Picayune Valley for the second time, and love it even more now. Check the post on my Granite Chief blog.

This is my third backpack of the year, the first was to the Pine Nut Mountains and Carson River Canyon in March, the second a big loop in the Carson Range from home to Tunnel Creek to Spooner to home. I’ll be out again next week!
